Battery Powered Leaf Blowers

Finally – battery products that meet our standards

Battery operated outdoor power tools have been available for a while. But the technology has not reached the levels of power and efficiency that we at Husqvarna require to put our name on a product. Until now. Take a look at the Husqvarna Battery Series: a line of products that includes battery powered chainsaws, battery powered leaf blowers, grass trimmers and hedge trimmers.

Uniquely powerful

Don’t be fooled by the small size of the electric motor. The torque in our battery-driven machines is higher than in many petrol-fuelled ones. This has been achieved by studying model planes. Their small, lightweight motors offer a very high level of efficiency, with excellent power and rapid acceleration at low speed. Inspired by model aircraft we developed a unique, more robust, Husqvarna brushless motor – with a superb combination of weight, durability and power. Combined with the powerful 36V Li-ion battery pack, you get an extremely efficient and powerful machine – even when you cut high, thick or wet grass. You should try it. Most people are amazed.

Less noise, no fumes, more comfort

When working with our battery-driven machines you’ll not only appreciate the absence of fumes and the lack of vibration. You’ll also experience the relief of working with almost silent motors – a perk that may be equally appreciated by your neighbours. In fact, the noise level from our battery machines are up to 13 dB(A) lower than that of a petrol machine, which is a huge difference. A reduction of 3 dB(A) is usually seen as a halving of the noise level.

Also, our handheld battery machines have a compact, slimmed-down construction with the front handle close to the centre of gravity. This makes them lightweight and well-balanced, allowing you to work comfortably in all situations.

One battery fits (almost) all

One of the most practical things about the Husqvarna Battery Series is the way the different machines work together. The 36V Li-ion battery pack is designed for demanding, long-lasting use and it fits all* of our handheld machines. This allows you to quickly switch the same battery between a trimmer, blower, chainsaw and hedge trimmer and just keep on working.

You can choose to buy your second machine without a battery or you can get an extra battery without buying a machine. This way you can choose the power setup best suited for your needs.

*Chainsaws always require BLi150

Working nine to five

Working with battery-driven outdoor machines does not mean you’ll have to compromise on runtime. A single charge of the powerful 36V Li-ion battery allows you to work approximately as long as you would on one tank of petrol*. And since the charging time is shorter than the usual working time, having an extra battery will enable you to work non-stop.

Husqvarna also offers a backpack battery that provides a capacity up to ten times greater than the integrated battery, allowing you to work with fewer breaks for battery changes. The backpack works with all Husqvarna handheld products and the ergonomic harness is adjustable to fit users of any size.

*Variations occur between applications, but the aim is one battery = one tank of petrol.

Like money in the bank

The initial cost investment of a battery-driven machine from Husqvarna may be higher than the petrol-fuelled equivalent. But the savings from the petrol you’ll never have to buy will soon outweigh that first cost. Furthermore, the lifetime is as long as that of petrol-driven machines, but there are fewer parts to be served and the electronically-controlled drive system means less downtime and low operational costs. In the long run, a battery-driven machine can be a real moneysaver.

Husqvarna Battery Series is the result of all our knowledge in outdoor equipment combined with innovative electronic engineering. The machines are full of features that will make your life easier.
